Reason:

Personally I'd go -1 on this, not because that's not how we do things, but because I've always wanted to separate masturbation tags into more specific ones, but meh, +1.

I wouldn't be opposed to separation. I'd favor this alias regardless though because if we were going to separate masturbation I think it should based on erogenous zones instead of gender.

Or just vaginal_masturbation -intersex, because of the implications of the herm and cuntboy.

Agreed. I do think we could also really make use of a penis_masturbation tag, but I haven't been able to think of a name that doesn't sound stupid.

Could always use their internet colloquial names, "fapping" and "schlicking". They don't sound stupid to me, but they are very informal, which might be a problem.

Just a note: My old suggestion was the slightly confusing autohandjob, akin to autotailjob, autofellatio, autocunnilingus, autorimming, autopenetration etc., but I have none for the "female" variant, except autovaginal_fingering.

But I get the feeling *_masturbation probably works better.

Do we even have a tag for stimulating a pussy but that is not vaginal_fingering/vaginal_penetration/cunnilingus? Or would that just be vaginal?

I suggest using vaginal_masturbation and penile_masturbation (or whatever we end op using) instead of making our tags gender specific.

+1 and definitely +1 for at least not mixing word classes e.g. penis/vaginal. Note that we've also happily been using anal_masturbation and not anus_masturbation. e.g.:

• masturbation (I assume this one is kept)
• anal_masturbation
• vaginal_masturbation
• penile_masturbation
• (oral_masturbation) (heh, 1 autocunnilingus, 1 dildo_lick, 2 oral_insertion)
• ...

I think slyroon/Chessax's propositions would be best, doing it by gender would be a mess.

Out of the tags already aliased to masturbation a few could probably be moved to more appropriate tags.

schlick and flicking_the_bean could easily be retargeted to vaginal_masturbation.

pawing_off, jerking_off, pawing, jacking_off, fap, fapping, wanking and jerk_off could maybe all be retargeted to penile_masturbation, but I'd imagine mistags could be possible with a few of those.
