A bit off topic, but do people still use "automobile" today except for emphasis? At least I had no idea, like:
"Honey, I'm taking the automobile down to the shop."
"Okay, remember your driving gloves, and goggles."
Also, not talking about "automotive".

I wouldn't have thought anybody still did, but some people must still use it if the tag exists. I wonder if it's a non-native speaker thing.
