Happens every time there's some new tech: the old guard who's job's being replaced get worried and/or angry about it. Luddites are a famous example but the same happened across both industrial revolutions, and even as recently as the 70s when auto jobs and other factory jobs were being automated people protested and in some cases even went hog wild with some sledgehammers like the Luddites 200 years earlier. Automation also does tend to hurt the working class at first but ultimately is a good for society: look at how much better lives were after we automated all those terrible Victorian era factory jobs or how we've managed to replace 99% of back breaking farm jobs. Sometimes people get hurt short term, British automation of the textile industry (what motivated the Luddites) put tons of textile workers out of a job but ultimately it meant people didnt need to spend all day laboriously spinning thread and weaving cloth with such efficiency a fabric that once took hundreds of man hours can be cranked out in minutes. Sure, some people lost jobs but it also made clothes far more affordable and fabrics once only the wealthy could afford like lace were now available for all but the poorest of society, which was a net benefit.

Deep and nuanced political discourse on a furry porn website 😳
tbf it looks less like deep and nuanced political discourse and more like a Redditor's cookie cutter idea of what that looks like, complete with all requisite buzzwords and loathing of people being able to own their own shit 'cause that's meeeean
This comment section has confirmed to me that AI obsessed users have no sense of empathy for their fellow man, no respect for artists, and are the epitome of greed. It has honestly reached cartoon levels of evil, I'm not even joking.

And while the Idea of a machine beeing able to create art or culture is disturbing, I find most of those fears are currently overblown anyway
This line aged like milk. with tools like ChatGPT 4o, ai generated slop is almost impossible to tell from real art. More and more companies use AI for advertising instead of hiring real people,
and if the trend of using AI to argue with people on social media and slopify the ghibli art style is anything to go by, it's had a great effect on culture. I say we crucify Sam Altman

they ain't wrong about advances in tech tending to improve the lives of people, but AI is different. Companies are using it to cut costs at all costs, meaning less oversight in the manufacturing of products, environmental protection, and safety of remaining workers/end consumers. It's not about making lives better, it's about making them as shitty as possible to force us onto our phones so we can watch AI-generated advertisements for shittly manufactured and dangerous products that harm us and the planet. It's being used to squeeze every bit of life out of us instead of improving life for all of us.
Would love to get this animation with my jex and them rubbing me if you take comms x3
Holy shit, Jealous, I'd love to get my paws around that cock.

I think you may just want to put "gynomorph" on your blacklist.
