I was being intentionally vague to not trip off the "creepy comments" rule. I suppose I could've said I do a lot of figure drawings of characters with unusual anatomy in binary drawing style (and I didn't even mention any specific fetishes there). Doesn't matter. You already gave an answer.
Constructive Anatomy by Bridgman
This is what I meant by anatomy. Though, it seems to be more of a reference guide than a how-to like the Scott Robertson book? Still, I do think it is going to help me.
Anyway, thanks for answering.
Character count threshold is BS.
Just a guess, but I think it adds some invisible formatting for like newlines or for closing everything so no formatting bleeds to the rest of the page if one was not properly closed. Or "In response to blip" is somehow counted as part of the blip itself.
@peacethroughpower:
I don’t know. I’m still in a kerfuffle. Even my co-workers laughed. As for pricing, it doesn’t say how much. I just grab, scan, ship.

How expensive is it? I couldn't find a listing for a single can. It might have been to push the order over the free shipping threshold. Plus it's likely eligible for EBT. People tend to be looser in spending EBT than spending USD. (I'm not judging, of course, this goes for me, too.) Maybe the person is super isolated and this is their only viable option.

Character count threshold is BS. I had to shave this down to 986 characters before it would post rather than giving the 'body too long, blips must be <1000 characters' error.
That's why there are missing full stops.
Not really sure why. It's not like I used any multibyte characters (Unicode) that would confuse a bad character counter, it was all ASCII.

books or material
How to Draw by Scott Robertson. clearest and most comprehensive book about perspective/projection.
Something to balance out the formalizing influence of traditional perspective. I like moatdd's approach, check this and see if you do too
Anatomy in the sense of being able to say, this is the X, it attaches to the Y?. Not that important IMO. gesture and major figure landmarks are the 80% of figure drawing. Drawing from the drawings in Constructive Anatomy by Bridgman might help with understanding how to caricature the major forms of any given element of a figure
Gesture is super individual IMO. I think it's necessary to try many different approaches in great volume and synthesize them into your own hybrid

Welp, turns out all courses only start after the summer break. I see I have picked just the right time to pause posting to my galleries [/sarcasm].
Since I'm not gonna spend a whole month doing nothing, can anyone recommend me what book to get or which material should I learn first for the purposes of drawing whatever the hell weird stuff I usually draw?
My mind suggests to just re-learn figures/anatomy and perspective. But knowing my track record, I'm probably wrong. A lot of art lessons I found start with perspective, though. In fact, that's the only thing I learned before dropping out of architecture school.
Look, I just want to be able to draw again without the overwhelming guilt that my impostor syndrome was just Dunning--Kruger in disguise all along. Can't even bring myself to type furaffinity on the address bar.
I'm so fucked up. Sorry for the unhinged rant.
@Daleport996: oh well good luck with that then. In my class the first one largely consisted of drawing various things set up in class or drawing the school itself or hallways to learn perspective and vanishing point. Coming up with things to draw for the assignments can be difficult, but I had fun coming up with ways to draw what I wanted within the assignment. I also found e6 around the time I started college and found some of the artwork here to be quite motivating, a goal to stive for.
And I see I missed a by "foiled by geese."
@W0LFB3AT5: i preferred to draw eerie scenery, for classes I would often draw what I pictured in my mind while reading h.p. Lovecraft and used Stephen gammell and h.r. giger as references. It was hard coming up with that much to draw for classes.
My favorite is drawing with charcoal, so a lot of shading and different tones.
I took figure drawing classes as well which was a great learning experience, although I remained abysmal at drawing human faces and hands. I personally ought to get better at drawing hands, but I suppose that will be practice over time.
I've been trying to start drawing more often lately, I should try making a few more charcoal drawings again. I mostly use my powers for smut these days, which is fun.

Ok, you know what. You have convinced me with that. Though, I don't think I can just apply for art class in my college with a vastly unrelated major (I'll see if there are any extracurricular stuff I can join).

In my freshman year of high school, I took art class. My area of expertise, was creating intricate depictions of hands. Capturing the nuances of shading, creases, and distinguishing marks. Subsequently, I wanted something more challenging by attempting to sketch human faces. As part of my ongoing pursuit of improvement, I then tried full body sketches.

@Two_B: interesting, I've never heard of that battle before. There's so much to learn, even in ones own subject of interest.
I recently learned that the Gauls sacked Rome once, I never heard of that before.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Allia
Supposedly an attack was foiled geese, war can have it's comical moments as well.
The thing is, I mainly draw as a way to unwind and relax. I originally didn't want to take an art course to avoid turning it into a chore, which could potentially make me hate drawing.
But the detriment of being bad at art has made me reconsider. I don't think I'll go to an art class anytime soon, but I'll at least pick a book or look up online tutorials.

I take it you mean I should experiment more and practice with different designs before I commit to finish a drawing, which is a great advice, I'll take it.
You're correct in that I did most of the drawing before realizing it doesn't work and starting over. I was aware of this problem but didn't think much of it.
I guess the bulk of my problem is that I only draw when I'm horny and I strive to recreate exactly the thing I see in my head right at that point. Which, yeah, does make me unartistic when I think about it.
I should draw more often (not more, just more often) and focus on the basics like angles and poses before I get into the weird kinky stuff.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

War is hell. They'd likely argue that their lack of materiel compared to Western armies like the US necessitated such tactics. (Not that I'm trying to justify them, of course.) There's so many horrible deaths that come from war.

36 hours is pretty slow, but how quickly you get to a finished design is tied a lot to how quickly you can iterate on your design.
Not knowing how you work, I can only speculate that you might be trying to paint most of the thing out before deciding it's wrong. Drawing it (just defining borders of things) can be enough to show whether a design will work. Being timid (not pushing/exaggerating things) also seems to be a common problem. It should be acceptable to produce crazy shit in order to help identify what exactly could work and look cool. Just trying to nail the right note, immediately, makes people stiff and unartistic, IME.
Your friend's work seems fast and reasonably solid. With only 2 years experience, I wouldn't expect him to be able to do that consistently. Whether he loves the particular subject probably counts a lot.

Like, how long should a drawing like the one I made take to draw? Say, by someone who consistently draws in the same art style and has just under 2 years of experience but without formal art education?
I guess I shouldn't have said 9 days. It's more like 4 hours x 9 = 36 hours total. I will admit a lot of the time was spent on erasing and staring over, though I can't tell how much exactly.
The friend that I asked made this in an hour. He said this was after a month of practice, but he had some experience beforehand.

All that can be said about your particular case is what IMO is obvious: 9 days worth of strokes are not evident.

Reminds of General Midi patches, with stuff like birds chirp, seashore, helicopter, and gunshot. I've never found any songs that use those apart from the MIDI version of BIG SHOT from Spamton's Sweeptake where the gunshot replaces the "Wow!" which I find funny considering the title.
Finally finished drawing the thing I've been working on for like 9 days. It's kinda crap to be completely honest, but I'm not seeing myself touching the .kra file anymore anytime soon.

That was only 1.5 people ago.
Pocahontas marrying John Rolfe happened like 400 years ago. That's a hard amount of time to really grasp. That was only like 8-9 people ago...
