Bumper the Badger is one of the several playable racers called to Timber's Island to help defeat the evil Wizpig in Diddy Kong Racing, and its DS remake Diddy Kong Racing DS. He is a stout badger with black, gray and white fur, and wears a red belt, red gloves, and a matching red helmet with yellow goggles attached. He is described as easily becoming worked up with excitement over racing and driving at high speeds. According to official Rare sources, Bumper was reportedly locked up in jail after the events of Diddy Kong Racing for undisclosed reasons, but was later revealed by the company to have been released on parole and that he was was 'superficially sorry' for all the bad things he did.
