Goblin Slayer (Japanese: ゴブリンスレイヤー, Hepburn: Goburin Sureiyā) stylized as GOBLIN SLAYER! in latin script, is a Japanese dark fantasy light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. A manga adaptation by Kōsuke Kurose is serialized in the Monthly Big Gangan magazine, and a second adaptation by Masahiro Ikeno runs in the same magazine. A prequel manga by Kento Eida runs in Young Gangan. Both the novels and the manga adaptations have been licensed by North American publisher Yen Press. Three audio drama CDs have been released, bundled with the fourth, sixth, seventh, and eighth light novels. An anime television series adaptation by White Fox aired from October to December 2018.

The series takes place in a fantasy world and follows the Goblin Slayer, a 20 year old Silver-Ranked Adventurer in the Adventurer. As a child he became the sole survivor of his village after it was invaded by an army of goblins. He was also forced to watch said goblins rape and kill his mother and sister. As such he swore revenge and that he would exterminate every single goblin with extreme prejudice by any means necessary. He is, conversely only interested in slaying goblins and will generally ignore any other quest unless they are somehow related to goblins. Goblin Slayer is accompanied by Priestess, a Porcelain-Ranked Adventurer who on her first adventure, her original party was massacred by the goblins. As well as High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest who enlist his help to exterminate the Goblin Army threatening their tribes.
