Imminent Oral Vore describes posts where a character, or the viewer, is about to be consumed orally ("eaten alive"), based on dialogue or poses.
Examples of Imminent Oral Vore
As with any "imminent" tag, imminent oral vore can be shown in a number of ways, this is a non-exhaustive list of some examples of scenarios that fall under imminent oral vore...
- A character using their hand(s), their tail or tentacles, to hold them above or in front of their gaping mouth, or place push/place a character into their mouth, or making gestures such as rubbing their belly, licking their lips, or licking the character, often paired with a rumbling stomach suggesting hunger
- A character grabbing and putting another character's hand, head, or feet into their mouth, with the intent to continue swallowing them
- A character holding, restraining and/or pinning another character, mouth open, about to shove them head first into their jaws
- A character with their mouth open, looming over a character with clear predatory intent
- A much smaller character, clearly struggling and/or scared, attempting to escape a larger character's mouth (who has yet to chew or swallow them)
Text/Dialogue suggesting Imminent Oral Vore...
- In most cases, this tag should only rely on written words alone if the text/dialogue very explicitly states a character's intent to eat someone whole and alive, or that they will eat a character within the same scene, such as in the first example above
- however, in rare cases like the second example above, imminent_oral_vore can be tagged — while the dialogue by itself can be taken as an innocent comment during cunnilingus — the statement, along with the anthro character's looming shadow in the final panel, and confused/fearful reaction of the human are contextualized as imminent vore by the immediate followup post containing explicit oral vore
Tagging Notes
- In most cases, vore/oral vore and imminent oral vore should not be tagged on the same post — however...
- some exceptions exist, where the predator hasn't swallowed the prey, but is clearly about to, and is not merely holding them on their tongue
- oral vore and imminent oral vore may co-exist where panels or frames in the same post depict the "follow through", of the prey character being swallowed, or a brief time skip to the character being inside the predator character's stomach (or further). Ideally, the "dual tagging" should apply to posts where the "imminent" part of the vore scenario is focused on. Rather than simply being tagged because an animation begins with the prey outside of the pred's mouth.
- This tag may sometimes be added to posts that are "vore-like", where a character is simply sitting or laying in another's mouth, but there may not be explicit evidence the larger character is going to swallow them, however, these posts are better tagged as on tongue and/or in mouth, use your best judgment
- Note: if a character is having oral sex (having their genitals licked or rubbing on the larger character's tongue, use tags such as oversized oral, mawplay, and/or tongue riding instead of imminent oral vore, unless follow up panels/frames/posts or dialogue suggests that they will be swallowed
