Character: jenny the burro
Jenny the Burro is a female (Jenny) donkey (Spanish: Burro - Latin: Būrrō.) from the Walt Disney animated shorts: Mickey's Polo Team (1936), Don Donald (1937) and finally The Village Smithy & Donald's Gold Mine (1942). She is also a very under-appreciated female Disney character with plenty of graces and flaws.
As is the case for many of Walt Disney's early characters, she was voiced by voiceover legend Clarence Nash. She was first featured as the donkey Donald Duck rode on as a participant in a celebrity-game of Polo between Disney characters and celebrities from across the United States (1936). Later she was once again used by Donald as a steed, riding off to attempt to court "Donna Duck". (Daisy Duck's debut) Only to be replaced with tactless abandon by an automobile Donald bought because Donna took offense to the idea of riding on a donkey (1937). She also gave Donald a significant struggle as he attempted to have her hooves shoed (1942). And finally; she dumped him by accident on to his gold mine conveyor belt, to go through the entire Rube Goldberg machine that is his ore processing (1942).

This character tag may be used when a character is described as "Jenny the Burro" or "Jenny the Donkey" (preferably with a Disney shoutout) in the source or a character is described as cosplaying her. She is also not to be confused with Walt Disney's Jacchus from Fantasia, or the donkeys from Pinnochio who are also voiced by Clarence Nash.
