Internal monologue is text that appears as part a character's thoughts rather than spoken out loud. In most cases this text will appear inside of a thought bubble.

For tagging purposes, content within dreams and fantasies should be treated as a separate scene. A character communicating within a dream will still be treated as dialogue.

Not to be confused with

• talking_to_self - This will involve solo communication spoken out loud.
