interspecies
Sexual, mating, or romantic activity between different species. They should always be from different family sub-classes (e.g., feline/canine, equine/cetacean, but not lion/tiger). A good rule of thumb is if they can realistically breed offspring this should NOT be used.
- Note: Pokémon may also get this tag, but they must be of both separate species and evolutionary line. For example: a Bulbasaur and Charmander a would be valid for interspecies, but a Charmander and a Charizard would not be.
Not to be confused with
- intraspecies - Same species romance/sex.
- hybrid - The offspring of an interspecies relationship.
