A pubic mound (also known as mons pubis; mons Venus on females) is a rounded fleshy mound located over the pubic bone (pubis). This characteristic is easiest to spot in female and somewhat athletic characters, and when present appears as if the pubic bone is "sticking out" from the character's lower abdomen/upper groin area. A lot of characters have a pubic bone, but far fewer have a visible mound.
