well, too late to edit this now...
So, I double checked the comic on tumblr, and noticed that Jade refers to Jasper as brother. So, considering he has scars on his chest, which seem to indicate a mastectomy (which can be tagged, fyi) my best guess is that Jasper is MtF and just has not undergone a full transition, something his brother has accepted VERY well.

Didn't he just want to get to sleep?

Ok, so I'm confused here. Was "he" a "she", then removed her breasts, but kept her vagina? Or was "she" a "he" that added breasts, decided he didn't like them, removed them, then got a vagina? There's no reason this person should have genital surgery and breast surgery like this. O.o
