Myre Vol. 1 Page 69.

Boozer has a personal little garden where he grows herbs for his tinctures. His usual way to check their potency is by trying them with his mouth. Since the herbal tinctures contain a high volume of alcohol, the numbing side effects kick in almost instantly, which he's he’s quite fond of.

His knowledge of herbs and booze comes from his old pen pals, who share the same passion. He always makes sure to have a sip stored in his pocket. ;)

    Someone is about to learn that it often hurts more to disinfect, clean and dress a wound than it does to actually get the wound.
