  • It's a great comic, and hot. It's just that it had a pretty bad beginning which left a mark in the back of my mind when I see this comic. The way she screwed Nick over, and then Nick just suddenly goes along with it is kinda sad and weird. But from then on, it does become hot.

  • Star screw lock can't be lockpicked and can be made in unique shapes internally. You either have the key or you are not getting it off without breaking the device itself.

I'm not sure about that. Looks like it's basically a phillips bolt holding the cage on.

idk about the way it is drawn here. Phillips heads arent used as locks.

Some chastity devices use a pin or screw to attach them instead of a lock. High-security locks are explicitly not used on real-life chastity devices because they're tools for play, where a high-security lock could get in the way of a valid medical emergency in the case of constriction or severe pain from an improperly fitted device or a pinched nerve. "Unpickable" in real-life play would be the worst idea possible. Most padlocks used on chastity devices can be opened with a handcuff key, which is little more than a metal flag on a pin.

This is fiction, though, so believe what you will, and there's no harm to more permanent chastity play for fictional characters. But it feels weird to see a non-author state confidently "this device is secured by this particular lock that doesn't actually exist."

So you are just claiming that security screws aren't real? Am I understanding your comment correctly?

I also very clearly did not say it with confidence. Unless the words "I dont know" suggests confidence to you.

Security screws use extra material (generally a bonding adhesive or Nylon tape) added to the screw bitting to prevent them from coming back out in situations where things like the vibrations of a motor could unscrew the object. Some screws also use special screw heads to prevent tampering (generally on electronic devices to make consumer repair more difficult), generally pentalobular or torx. This isn't what you claimed though. Neither of these are locks. Neither of these use a custom threading or drive recess. They're only unpickable in that there's nothing to pick. Loctite just requires extra torque and a pentalobular or torx screw just requires a trip to a hardware store or some ingenuity using tools that kind-of work to tension, like the trick with a rubber band and an oversized Phillips screwdriver.
