I’d like to see you actually make your claim and stream you drawing on some other service than Discord, or better yet, show a time-lapse on one of your other medias. I see some subtle hints that these some, if not most of these pictures are not 100% hand-drawn and most likely used as some form of AI-generation.

This artist is 100% legit and I apologize for starting the rumor that their art is Ai. They do not use Ai, they do not trace. I have been talking with them and going through their stuff and there is no shenanigans afoot here

Then I looked at a lot of your art and only looked at it negatively from there. I just saw Nyx's recent tweet of them showing a video of them sketching their recent art. I've blind-sighted myself for only viewing your art bad and I feel bad for doing so.

@whygena, i already made a comment elsewhere about my concerns, but i feel i should place more details here. Most of this i typed out a week ago. This was primarily made to manage my own nerves.

I'm not convinced that nyxart is innocent. i'll preface this by saying 1: that i made this account with the explicit purpose to type this out,
2: that i say all this more to help
my anxiety and shakiness more than anything, my paranoia coming from the AI flood over in reggie's tag on rule34, and
3: i checked on my own before whygena made the accusation, and already came to my own conclusion.
This is a bit of a long one

Even though nyx has a video timelapse of their drawing, and they stream their drawings, the streaming software they use is likely using a "capture window" style of recording, which doesn't show any windows placed on top.

This would allow them to use a "see through windows" option to overlay another picture over their art software without it being seen by the viewers.

I'm not sure but i already went over most of this in whygenas DMs which is why im not taking this seriously and I'm not sure what "capture windows" are but i made that piece from scratch and the time laps looks the way all timelapse on clip studio paint do and ill be happy to also send you the original file i react the way i do because i dont hate anyone that likes me or not i comment on everyone and react calmly to question or concerns im not a expert in being a online artist seeing i just started but i still try hard to help I've talked with a lot of people that's pointed out the same things as you and ive gave them the same answer i gave whygena if you are still concerned you can contact me on my X newgrounds or even discord and please dont feel bad or beat yourself up if you were false all my followers mean a lot to me even the negative ones so please clunk lord i really do hope you feel better soon ~Nyx!

i can imagine you not knowing what "capture window" means, since i am using terminology from the niche screen recorder i toy around with, it just means it records only what the program you're trying to record would show, even if it's covered up by some other program. you likely use discord's screen share stuff, which does that too.

the original file would not prove anything. the timelapse would not be affected with the method i'm describing. i'm stating that you've used a transparent image that you can click through for tracing. one that wouldn't be seen in discord's screen sharing view.

in all of your works, there are a lot of strange inconsistencies, some of which are consistent. eyelashes and feet being weird, jewellery being heavily mismatched, to name three examples. here,
i'm not sure why a real artist wouldn't just draw a new angle or pose for the 3rd panel. at this point, wouldn't it make sense to just copy panel 2 and just change some really small things? tons of people do that.

you may have shown them, but i haven't seen it, and i know of the technologies that would be in play if you are tracing AI. from my eyes, it looks like you're hiding something, rather than it just being that you don't care.

i'm not just some guy on the internet, i'm some guy on the internet who has the technological knowhow to say with absolute certainty that you're a hack.

it's funny you're saying i'm "going off of straight intuition" when i have provided proof backing my claims above. your refusal to provide me proof, when i've gone far more in-depth and technical than i'd guess anybody else has, says to me that you're scared i would find more evidence for my end.

AI image generators have a set of things they are particularly bad at. simple things that humans don't normally make mistakes with as regularly as you do.

i'll tell you now that there is just about one thing that can really prove to me that you don't trace AI, something only real artists have. and at this point, you're gonna need a lot of that. i won't tell you what it is, because if you're real, you should already know.

Inconsistent anatomy, inconsistent shading, inconsistent background with a weird brown thing on a second panel, the hooters logo on the shirt is different from the Parent post, Reggie's facial features are inconsistent, his mouth is somewhat smudged on a second panel (in a way no person could do), his eyelashes are hella inconsistent and range from two to three and their thickness is always too weird, the eyes look like an attempt at generic anime eyes, which AI assumed Reggie's eyes were, it can't comprehend the pies, the AI assumed that his nips were shadows, so there is a strange pink spot on his chest on the second panel, the AI assumed that the bulge in the shorts would be of a vagina, so it looks more like pussy, not a sack, do I even need to say more? TLDR: you should publicly upload several recent drawings from a physical sketch book or something, if you've drawn in anything like that, to show that you're not tracing AI. the more the merrier. having public physical sketches will even deter other people from making these accusations. if you aren't legitimate, i'd say i have a decently good eye for seeing that.

elaboration, coming right up. earlier, i'd have been fine with using 2 pictures of your physical work in my newgrounds PMs as enough proof. but, with your attitude this whole time, repeatedly saying that you don't use AI rather than provide counter arguments or anything, 2 privately shared shots aren't enough anymore.

all of your works have insanely weird oddities, such as significantly mismatched jewellery, eyelashes and the sort.

plus, the backgrounds in your comics tend to not look like they take place in the same room. even this reggie piece is a good enough example for that.

you use an art program that does not have any private layers that are hidden from timelapses, and you stream your work. however, there are apps to tip-toe around this.

as for the discord streaming, discord's screen sharing system does not show programs that are on top of what you're recording. it would record the art program, but not the workaround.
