Dragon's Hoard

This one was a blast to work on. Very Rarely do I ever have a chance to flex my dragon drawing skills. I love drawing fantasy creatures. I guess it just comes along with the territory of giant spiders, right? I'm really glad how the colouring came out for this one, especially for the background. I think this drawing was also one that help me pull out of an art funk I was going through. Since it was a bit... different... to my usual faire, I figured that I would take the time to experiment with colouring, and now... I use some of the tricks I learn from rendering this art in my every day drawing (Using overlay and luminosity layers to get soft glows around subjects, or a bit of reflected lighting off the surrounding objects. I hope you all like this one, I'm a bit proud of it.
