While it seems like this is their last plan they actually have 26 plans mapped out form A-Z, this was just the best plan for this specific situation.

I gotta say, for all the narrative (and somewhat political) tension in these last few page (and in the comments)... I absolutely trust BK to write a satisfying conclusion to this story.

Thanks for making this comic. It's been a fun and emotional ride.

I honestly think he's doing what I do in the car sometimes. He's resting his head on his fist and his elbow on the door where the window and the door meet so he can still drive and have good vision of the road but still rest his head while he thinks

Yeah, and that mark wouldn't be a good one on BK and the co-writer. This comic series began life as a commissioned, pay-per-page one, the characters owned by someone else. That person bailed before chapter 2 was finished, and the comic stopped. There was a very high demand from readers for it to be finished and some of them offered to pay for it to continue. BK adopted the now-abandoned characters as his own and eventually resumed.

This comic exists because people have wanted to see it continue and have paid for that to happen, until BK announced he could not officially take donations for it anymore due to Patreon clamping down on content like this. Or was it PayPal? Either way he said there was still a general tip jar link and he'd be finishing the comic regardless.

My point is, while you might think a tragic bad ending would be "better", that opinion is in the extreme minority. People wanted to see this comic continue and put their money where their mouth was, literally. And for this past chapter (and a good deal of the last) there's been a lot of grumblings about it just turning into drama, drama, drama with little sex as well as unhappy sentiment about the final chapters turning downer (this is not the only place the comic is discussed.) This series has been going for over five years, and there are a ton of people emotionally-invested in these characters, so the comic ending on a dramatic and tragic down note would NOT be a good thing for either BK or his co-writer. It would anger lots and lots of people, which in turn might hurt their reps and potential work in the future.

tl;dr: You might like horrible, tragic endings, but most people don't. Especially for long-running characters they're emotionally invested in.

While I don't want to see a tragedy either, I think your take is a little bit too business centric and doesn't consider the goals of the artist/writer. That said, perphaps OP meant an ending that's more bittersweet as opposed to a an outright tragedy, which I personally would appreciate to an unrealistic happy ending where no consequences result ftom the characters choices. I think this comic has ascended beyond simple fap art and deserves the opportunity to be what it wants to be, regardless of the desires the few and fragile.

I disagree, or rather my opinion that no one asked for is that this comic is simple fap art that's trying to ascend, but like Icarus it's coming dangerously close to the sun with its wings of "wax".

I remember only seeing 3 plans, one he supports it, 2 he doesn't and trys stopping it and it backfires and they leave, 3 him going there and starting a fight make them resent each other for the rest of their lives. Tho also a 4th she is pregnant and she ends in the hospital because of dad yelling at them and everyone is scared.

Hmmm.. While I was still in training, ideas and philosophies that differed from what I was explicitly taught were unilaterally resisted. It wasn't to ensure that I thought and acted the "right" way, it was to highlight the things that I was willing to fight for, earning individuality.

I know what Keith said on the last page, but maybe a show of sincerity will alter that stance somewhat. Or maybe what he cannot condone is the reckless behavior, if they're going to be banging then there are going to be condoms and pills involved.
