Just imagine how much happier a lot of the characters would have been would be if they all just threw a beach party instead of getting obsessed with their power struggles.

It's nothing new coming Hidetaka Miyazaki everyone ending in suffering, but given George R.R. Martin was involved in the writing of this game, it couldn't be different, unfortunately...

I mean there were some side quests that didn't end in suffering this time! Like Nephelli's for example.

Or Ranni- nope. Iji dies and my half wolf boyfriend goes insane :/

Or Patches...? He survives and Lady Tanith only tries to eat Rykard's corpse. I guess Zorayas just kinda vanishes?

There's also Zorayas quest line, but at the end she either leaves, you kill her or give her the forgetting potion that Tanith gives you.

I actually think that Nephelli and Zorayas have a high chance of appearing in Elden Ring 2 or whatever if they make that. Be it as a tragic corpse you find similar to the fair lady in DS3 or alive similar to Andre also in DS3.
