On a scythe, the blade is on the inside. Unless you plan on stabbing the thing in front of you, you're going to have to swing and jerk the blade towards them, and by effect, the enemy is either going to back up, or is now between you and your blade. And a scythe isn't exactly going to cut anything but plants in half. You just invited the creature in front of you a free shot, and now you have no way to effectively fight them when they're in your face unless you back up, and at most, they have a deep gash where you just cut. All around an ineffective weapon unless your goal is trying to catch something that's running away.

In this scenario, this dude doesnt even have any way to properly use the inside blade. And stabbing wouldnt be effective, the angle you're going to stab in is going to have almost no piercing potential when compared to a war pick for example. Also... the blade would get stuck in whatever you stabbed.

Forgot this is Elden Ring, so that scythe can do anything from letting you have legitimate teleporting, becoming Thor, or doing weeb death slashes.
