If anyone's a deuteragonist it probably Mort. Lemon has said she wrote this original from Noah's perspective, and that she didnt even intend to keep Mort around the rest of the story but then got attached and changed it. So they both kinda share the main stage, although obv sometimes more than others.

It does feel like a total waste. That long torture in the creature's belly and then to actually get saved from that... and then once we start to wonder what's going to happen, nope just dead.

Late to the party but after seeing these comments I had to say, this is probably the best part of the development. Mordecai and hard vore just kind of works and I love it
