OK so this is a bit of a mess. The bird order Charadriiformes is made up of three suborders (Charadrii, Scolopaci, and Lari). On esix, Lari is implied directly to bird, and some of the members of Charadrii and Scolopaci are implied to shorebird, which also implies bird directly. Shorebird, in turn, is a paraphyletic grouping that encompasses all of Charadii and Scolopaci, as well as a few groups within Lari, but (importantly) excludes most of the largest groups within Lari, such as gulls and puffins.
These BURs tear down the current trees and rebuild them thusly, getting everything in its proper place, futureproofing several groups that don't have art yet, and establishing shorebird as a paraphyletic umbrella:
