Im sorry, don't mind the show but I -hate- the porn of it, I use the random button all the time and black lists don't work with it. So is there another website like e6 that doesnt have so many ponies? Im getting anmoyed of hitting the random button at getting ponies about 7 times out of 10. Exspecially when they have a website strictly for ponies called 20% cooler.

So please any suggestions aside from mot using the random button? Its sort of my favorite time killer. Id rather randomly look through the pictures instead of opening 30 tabs and crashing my browser.

How are you blacklisting it?

If the random button doesn't consider blacklisted items, it should. I was almost sure that it did, though.

Why don't you stop using the random button and find a better use of your time.

They're talking about the 'Random' button, which ignores the blacklist.

At the top of this page: https://e621.net/post/index there's List, Upload, Mobile, Favorites, Subscriptions, Popular, Random, Tag History, Desc. History, Flag History, etc. The Random button allows you to browse randomly through the site, and can be fun. But it ignores the blacklist, so depending on your preferences it can be almost unusable. It badly needs to be fixed so that it works with the blacklist for exactly this reason. So far though, it appears to be stuck in the middle of a very long list of features and fixes waiting to be addressed.

You need to check your browser because it might be cursed. I have 160 posts per page. There are about 535 pages tagged with mlp (287 pages of mlp with rating questionable or explicit) and 2859 without mlp. When I clicked random button 10 times I got one mlp picture. The only logical explanation why you got 7/10 is that your browser is cursed. Consult your local exorcist.

I made a bookmarklet-maker a while ago that makes navigation bookmarklets . I think I stuck it in the Tagging Projects thread, where it was promptly ignored AFAICT. It basically just includes a huge array of post ids, looks up the 'current' post id in that array, and then goes to the next/prev item in the array.

Anyway, that kind of bookmarklet could be changed fairly easily to select an item randomly, so if you made a bookmarklet from the results of a -mlp search... It wouldn't be up-to-the-minute, but with random selection from 457000+ posts, I doubt you'd ever exhaust it.

EDIT: It's probably also possible to make a greasemonkey script that checks the tags of the current post, and goes to /post/random again if it's got mlp tag.
Since under 1/5 of posts are tagged mlp, that could work decently.

On a less serious note, Derpibooru . It is 100% pure pony, so no pollution with pony exists.

If you have your blacklist set up properly and you want to see random images, then an alternative to using the random feature (which completely ignores the blacklist) is to search for order:random, which is a simple post search, so the blacklist will filter out unwanted content (save for a few potentially undertagged posts). Also, navigating to another page is almost pointless as the images will be reordered again. Just searching again or refreshing the page will get you new results.

Though you may end up opening 30+ tabs if you're not careful.

Just count the first one as the randomized post and take a closer look; then you can go back and get a new random image.

There is a "not pony related" tag, but it's blocked by the default filter.

Speaking of dragons on derpibooru, Queen Cold is practically an all dragon artist. Sure, she sometimes has dragons interacting with ponies, but her focus is on the dragons themselves, and many of her characters wind up there despite never interacting with ponies.

I get the feeling you didn't read the topic, whatsoever. Shadow has mlp blacklisted, but the random image feature doesn't support the blacklist.

Simple, the brony-Furry connection works like Comic book fans and Otakus, they like the exact same products but with some changes.

And answering his question, No. Right now there is pony stuff in basically any website on existent, wherever the users like it or not.
