I know they changed the tag to "Something else" and I read the original thread as to why and I understand why. But in the original thread a moderator for the website specifically stated that all images and searches for "Cuntboy" would continue to work. I just tried today and I can't add "Cuntboy" Tag to a post. It just didn't apply and didn't do anything at all. So now they lied and "Cuntboy" doesn't exist anymore. So what did it change to and where do I find cuntboy artwork? I found "Andromorph" and tried searching for that but most of those results have breasts so that's not cuntboys.

Can someone please tell me how to find this sort of artwork now? There was no news post saying what it was changed to. I just login tonight and *POOF* cuntboy gone and doesn't work anymore.

Also I tried searching for "Cuntboy" and it returns a few results but only 6K now. "Cuntboy" used to return around 25K - 40K results. So they removed the tag from a lot of posts now, making it nearly impossible to find old artwork.

Also: Please do not discuss "Why" it was changed here. I do not want to open that can of worms anymore and any such discussion is off topic. I just want to know exactly how to find it and where it went for searching, that's all.

Nothing was removed, the name was just changed. It's why searching cuntboy still yields results. The counters are just off.

Okay? Then why was it somewhere around 1600 pages of results before but now cuntboy only returns 225 pages? Something is different. Either they changed the tag (removed it from posts) or that many old posts were actually deleted from the website in the past few months since I last searched with it. Which I think the mass-deletion is rather unlikely to of happened.

It's probably largely to do with the fact that months ago e621 was a different website, it's since became a completely new site with the same name. There are post counter issues.

And where was it stated that the website completely changed ownership and was re-designed with a new name? I can't find any news posts about it nor anything in the forums about it. Maybe I'm blind and just not seeing it. And it still looks like E621 to me.

EDIT: I also went to view the information page you posted above about andromorph. So since the official page says Andromorph should not have breasts. If I see any posts with single character (solo) that are tagged andromorph in them that have obvious breasts what should we do? Report it somewhere? Or would anyone even care about that? What tag should that be changed to? Is there a different one for cuntboy characters that have breasts?

The last ownership happened long ago, when Varka bought the thing back in 2010. The site is still called e621 since 2007. What happened recently is that the booru instance the site was running on got completely changed to a much newer version. The old database remained, but the new Danbooru instance has caused problems with the old databases which are being worked on.

And the switch from dickgirl/cuntboy to gynomorph/andromorph happened before the site update. All that happened is that the new tags were created, chosen as primary, and the old tags got aliased to the new tags.

I never said it changed ownership, the site just had a huge new update where the platform it's running on was replaced to a more modern system and designed to look the same.

As far as if you see something that is tagged wrong, yes there should be a "report" button where you can submit a tagging abuse report should the image in question fall into the criteria. It's in the left info of an image under options.

As far as cuntboy with breasts, that just sounds like a female to me.. maybe just an intersex tag depending on where it falls in the gender tagging guidelines

Yes, but it seemed like AquaVixen thought that was the case, so I explained that all that has recently changed is the new booru instance and the tag aliases, to clear up his confusion.

Ah, Thanks for explaining. I never saw a news post about "We changed the booru instance, some things may be different." I just logged into the website, went to search for the common things I normally search for and suddenly I only see 1/8'th of the results I was expecting to see and thought something was wrong or changed somewhere. Sorry about all of that.

I think the default page size has also changed (and you can only go up to 250/page max now in settings), so any reasoning from # pages to rough numbers of results needs to take that into account.
