-1. Despite the name, electric eels aren't actually eels, they're knifefish. Imply to knifefish instead imho.

I stand corrected. I suggest, at the very least, implying electric_eel —> fish.

Yeah definitely, in the end they need a fish implication. IMHO, since they're knifefish I feel the implication chain should be electric_eel —> knifefish —> fish. But just a plain fish implication on electric eel itself would work too.
