Pretty much, yeah. "Liar" was perhaps a bit strong for a joke, but whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The important thing here is that Fan Girl Modelling and Male Garment Maculation are wrong and need to stop.

Absolutely. Now, I do think that the benefits of nuclear power are often overstated and its flaws ignored by its proponents, but that's probably because if they give an inch, their opposition would take a mile.

Everyone makes a big deal about nuclear waste, but honestly, solid waste held in a fenced-in location in the middle of the desert is not nearly as bad as pumping countless tons of coal into the air we and everything else breathes. The long-term effects of nuclear power are not going to bite anyone in the ass if there's no one left for them to affect. It pisses me off that so many environmentalists have opposing nuclear above coal on their agenda.

And fluid fuel reactors get rid of that specific downside, plus a ton more.

if you were never circumcised, pinch yourself down there. if you WERE, same task. tell which of the 2 hurts more and we'll know who still has nerves in the part of their body and who...yeah... this claim is a flat out LIE and should NEVER be believed.

I was, and the nerves are still there. Wearing the wrong size underwear feels like walking around with a sandpaper loincloth. And you know how they say you never remember things before you're 4? That's also a myth. That little experience was the second earliest memory. Considering what exactly is happening, I wouldn't be surprised if the people who don't remember are just repressing a traumatic experience.

I think I'm missing something. Do some people really circumcise kids without anesthesia? Or are you talking about poor countries?

Also I've never heard any circumcised person complain about it before. Weird.

Oh, that's right, I forgot. You can't use a commonly used term on the Internet and expect not to get called a liar by someone who refuses to understand the concept of slang. Gotta be dictionary-perfect in everything you say or you're a liar and you've said a bad word or three. Good gawd.

... really? I even implied that I thought it a tad much, yet I'm the one you respond to?

It's shit like this, when a person targets a third party for trying to help, that ruins my mood (since we're on the angry thread).

The reality is that circumcision isn't typically as crippling as some people make it out to be. The exaggerated arguments people make ("your dick is broken forever and your life will never be what it could have been" when it actually works just fine and affects almost nothing) are not going to win people who are on the fence over who know that this is false and it is mostly preaching to the choir.

That said, nothing really justifies making that kind of permanent choice on someone else's behalf. I'd still take issue even with people piercing babies' ears.

I had anesthesia. It just didn't do what it was supposed to do. I probably looked like I was unconscious, but the reality was I just couldn't move anything. I don't know if they use a different anesthetic now or something because the only other time I had surgery it worked as it's supposed to. I don't know why the first didn't work.

that could easily be true given how horrible the procedure is.

that's usually how it'd go.

well, 1. it's kinda embarrassing (i kinda got past that once i started talking about it more. >.>) and 2. it's unpleasant to think about for too long. so maybe that's why or maybe they're under the delusion that it's somehow better than not having that done to them.

Getting on my case for "using an absolute" on the Internet of all places doesn't seem like "helping" to me.

Also, you're not "the one" I responded to. I've responded to others about this already.

"Antifascists." If you're "anti-fascism," it means you're *AGAINST* fascism, not for it. Acting like a fascist douchebag then turning around and calling yourself an "antifascist" is idiotic. It's like blaming Whitey for all your problems and then turning around and saying you're "anti-racist." NO YOU ARE NOT ANTI-RACIST, to be an anti-racist you need to STOP BEHAVING LIKE A RACIST.

People who mislabel things online and then get all bent out of shape when you remind them that wanting to commit a crime is not the same thing as actually committing the crime.

Twitter right now they've got some dipshit claiming that pedophilia is fucking kids... and no, it's actually not. It's wanting to fuck kids, but it is not actually fucking kids.

Also, I hate that I feel this godawful obligation to correct people, especially when it comes to such a hotbutton topic as this, because I guarantee that I will be labeled a pedo for daring to correct these morons.

and on an unrelated note, i saw someone try and use the word "atheist" as an insult in a comment on youtube earlier. that was a first for me.

In a way, I kinda feel like the whole wide world is my opponent this time around, because an accusation of pedophilia can ruin people's lives since there's so much crap where people think that feeling the attraction is the same thing as committing the crime. It's like you just got cut off on the freeway by some idiotic driver and you feel like ramming his car at 100mph, and by these people's logic, you've actually done it even though you haven't done it.

And I'm curious: was the "atheist" insult directed at an atheist? Knowing how some folks on Youtube can be, it wouldn't surprise me. XD

I'm so angry idk what i'm going to do

But seriously, the cuck throws a bitch fit, offs an old dude (who dindu nuffin) while filming it and then uplaods it facebook. Yet somehow the police and fbi aren't able to push a warrant through, so they track him by his phone or car (a new ford focus with gps). Thankfully a cashier at mcdonald's notice the cuck and notified the police who knows how long it would of been before they found him. Too bad the guy wasn't a politician or the NSA would of been top it right away.

Twitter right now they've got some dipshit claiming that pedophilia is fucking kids... and no, it's actually not. It's wanting to fuck kids, but it is not actually fucking kids.

You're also correct in this way: wanting to commit a crime can come with the restraint to know not to. I've been known to zero in on exactly how to psychologically break anyone, but I'm not guilty of gaslighting because I don't do it, either because I know it's wrong or because people I hate enough to think about like that aren't worth the effort I'd have to put in.

And because pedophilia is to raping children what a rectangle is to a square. All child-rapists are pedophiles, but the reverse is not true, and like anyone with urges that can be criminal in nature, self-restraint can be used. The actual criminal act is "Statutory Rape", though possession of child pornography is another one if the child is a real person or a live action character played by a child. Then there's the argument over what constitutes pornography.

The other thing is that liking fictional characters who are fictional children not tied to real people, isn't pedophilia.

Also, while this last point is just semantics, a fetish for teenagers is ephebophilia, not pedophilia, though the two can overlap.

Like any violent urge (statutory rape is rape, so it is an act of violence), people can learn to avoid giving into it. I wouldn't know how difficult that particular one can be, but impossible isn't just something that's pretty hard. Impossible is eating the sun.

Oh, the "weak atheist" thing. Yeah, that makes sense now. For some folks atheism is a belief rather than a non-belief. Those types are the "Strong Atheists," and unfortunately that kind of active belief tends to make people more fanatical. For someone like that, "weak atheist" could be a real way of insulting people.

That would explain a lot of times I've seen it. Had been told I was one when I said I'm Agnostic, but leaning toward Misotheism, except for one person who thought it meant I must apparently worship the devil.

Yeah, there's a lot of folks who mislabel things like that. Like the people who claim that Luciferianism is the same thing as Satanism, or that Rock musicians sold their soul to the devil to gain their fame because they "obviously" didn't work for it. Stuff like this is one of the reasons I rarely tell people my own beliefs. Half the time when I state an opinion on any given thing people just assume I'm [insert belief here] and almost nothing is going to change their minds.

edit: well, rebooting the router didn't work so i don't know what's wrong with youtube right now.

there are no words for this level of sheer madness. to think that i live in a world where shit like this happens on pretty much a daily basis is just...

an angry mob attacking and fire bombing a police car. 2 clips after that showing POLICE fleeing from large armed gangs. then a gang savagely beating someone...

WTF is it with the cops out there? Are they not allowed to fight back or something?

And judging by the commentary on the video, I have to wonder what is going through this Marcon's mind that he is basically saying "screw you" to his constituents. Because he obviously doesn't care about his countrymen.

Seeing more and more references to "white working class voters" in connection with Donald Trump, as if to say that if you're white and working class you're somehow not really human and have no real right to vote.

What angers me even more than this though is how any challenge to this thinly veiled anti-white racism is deemed "fake news" by the same bigots who practice it.

A combative response by police is usually going to just escalate things. There is no way to distinguish who is a threat in these situations, and firing into a crowd, no matter how unruly, is a great way to cause collateral damage

And since my attempt at avoiding a double post got me editing after someone else already posted, here it is in its own post (and the original edited back to what it was before I edited it).

People who complain about female Argonians having boobs in the Elder Scrolls games because they're "unrealistic."

I mean, we're talking about a franchise that takes place on another world, and for all we know an entirely different universe. There are telepathic trees, people who can shoot fire and ice out of their hands, children who cannot be killed even when a gigantic overpowered dragon shows up and slaughters his parents... then after all is said and done he wanders around aimlessly and might say "My parents died, I'm so sad" one single time then continue on with life like nothing happened. You've got scrolls that can send you back in time or give you visions just by reading them, you've got a meteor hanging suspended in mid-air over the city of Vivec in Morrowind, and you've got dragons who get born into the body of humans and are revered as the "Dragonborn" throughout the franchise...

If someone said that any of these things were real in this world, they'd be laughed at, even bullied and referred to online as "special snowflakes" for some of those things, but they're perfectly acceptable in a fantasy setting because everyone knows it's fantasy...

But then show those same people a lizard woman with boobs in that franchise and they lose their shit over how "unrealistic" it is.

*smh*

Point missed hard. The purpose of connecting white middle-class voters to Trump is to point out that systemic racism is still as massive a problem as ever. Trump never bothered to hide how much of a bigot he was and a massive majority of white people frankly just gobbled up everything he had to say.

The fact that people voted for someone who was so blatantly pandering to and preying upon their fears and prejudices IS a symptom of deep-seeded, institutional, casual racism, and that's so because most people JUSTIFIED their voting for this man by making a point of OVERLOOKING his racism.

Also, as far as I know, the only people using the term 'fake news' lately are Trump and his supporters.

Ehh. It was far from a "vast majority" of whites. A 21% difference. Geographical location was a major factor as well, and most whites in blue areas seem to hate him just as much as anyone else. The obvious exception to this would be the rust belt, who cast their vote for economic purposes more than anything. He had a non-negligible amount of support from even Hispanic voters in traditionally red areas. His rhetoric was never centered around genetics, it was always nationalism, which tends to be more accessible. Immigrants are often extremely patriotic people, and he pressed some of those buttons more than his competition, so, contrary to the popular idea, he wasn't automatically rejected by all of them, either.

Nationalist rhetoric aside, he's still a bigot and he never really tried to hide it (my 'favorite' incident being when he openly mocked a disabled reporter, with a close second being the incident where he mocked Prisoners Of War; Both are issues that hit extremely close to home for me, what with being neurologically disabled and coming from a Jewish family, as well as my father having been a wartime combat medic), and a lot of the things he wanted to do disproportionately targeted non-white people, so yeah.

LumenSageAlexander said:

Yeah, no. The only racism inherent in the system as it is right now is racism AGAINST white people, penalizing white people when it comes to things like financial aid for college, job availability, and stuff like that, thanks to the racist bullshit that is Affirmative Action. Other than that, no, the system is not racist. Expecting a "person of color" to obey the same laws as a white person is expected to obey is not racism, and yet that is precisely what you are referring to as racist. It is not racist to hold everyone to the same standard regardless of race. It is racist to hold one race of people to an entirely different standard than another, but the system doesn't do that, individual human beings do that.

And I hit the point dead-on. It is 100% about blaming Whitey for all the problems of this country. Heaven forbid white people be treated as equals in this country, noooo, gotta force them to pay everyone else for things members of their race did decades or centuries before they were ever born. If one of my ancestors murdered a thousand people, it is that ancestor's fault, not mine, and I will be goddamned if I'm going to be held accountable for their crime. And yet this is precisely what the media is doing, expecting people like me to pay for shit that we never did.

Some people don't deserve children.

dammit, youtube. wth is your problem THIS time? your not giving the "restart your device" error. so why the fuck is your video player not playing? and for what reason does VLC Media Player break every time your shitty video player breaks?

by that i mean the pause/play/stop/etc. buttons on VLC stop working.

every single time youtube's video player breaks. WHY?! why. are. you. SO. SHITTY?!

and i can forget about asking for help on youtube's reddit since the first assumption anyone makes in this type of situation is *insert generic tech support bullshit saying it's somehow the end users fault*. which isn't remotely helpful. i don't even know how youtube's video player and VLC could possibly be related.

all i know is i now need to reboot my laptop because something on either VLC or youtube broke which resulted in both things breaking at the same time.

inexplicable bugs and errors are incredibly annoying. but if anyone here knows what might be causing this problem then by all means, do enlighten me.

i'll be back in a bit after rebooting. and then i have something to share from suit's channel that will likely leave some of you angry and sad (it's child abuse related and about a couple who deserve HEAVY punishment for what they've been doing and have done.)

edit: ok, i'm back.

meet daddy of five and his kids.

what he's guilty of (that Suit has spoken of amounts to the following (and likely more)...

forging documents and exploiting the legal system to basically steal 2 kids from their biological mother (one of his relatives iirc). physical AND mental abuse on top of exploiting the 2 kids for fame and money via youtube videos.

physical abuse includes but is not limited to beating one (or both) of the kids by the name of cody (in one clip you can see him slamming cody into a shelf). mentally abusing cody (the main target of the abuse it seems) by betraying his trust, setting things up then punishing cody for things cody did not do only to later act like it was all a prank. (pretty much what the daddyoffive youtube channel is built around)

one prank involving blatant mental abuse involved the dad bringing in a xbox 360 and repeatedly hitting it with a hammer, all the while screaming at cody "wanna play games? here, play this! let's play this game! ...or something to that effect. followed by tickling him in a bad attempt at making it seem as if everything is alright then dancing out of the room while laughing (yes, this "dad" actually thinks this shitty behavior on his part is funny.) only to try and console cody with...another xbox 360.

and somehow, the legal system in the state of maryland (where these people live) classifies this (the physical abuse) as "corporal punishment" and not abuse.

wtf? a spanking is corporal punishment (and tbh not all that severe usually...well, sometimes.), slamming a child into a shelf and all this other shit is straight up child abuse. no if's and's or but's, this IS child abuse and that dad and his wife should be in jail for what they've done.

Though, there are times when I overestimate the amount of work I need to complete and I complete college work in short times...which is what gets me to procrastinate on everything else college related...

Maybe get a sign that has a picture of a revolver pointing at the viewer that says, "Never mind the dog: Beware of Owner."

Step-dad had a cousin who had one of those signs. It was... intimidating. Maybe something like will keep those buggers away.

i'll be back in a bit after rebooting. and then i have something to share from suit's channel that will likely leave some of you angry and sad (it's child abuse related and about a couple who deserve HEAVY punishment for what they've been doing and have done.)

If you mean this one, the one I linked is on the same subject.

This x 1,000! Whenever I do work at my job I check the recycling bin to make sure there's no unwanted crap in it. To top it all off, the bin has a "plastic shopping bags only" sign on it. Worst case scenario, someone threw dog shit into it. Thankfully it was in a bag, but still.

Donation bins have this problem. They are meant for donating clothes only yet you can find just about anything in there: Plates, broken glass, DVDs, knives, used syringes, dog shit... If it fits, you can find it in there. If it doesn't, it gets dumped in front of it. It's only a matter of time before someone finds body parts shoved in there.

whoops, seems you guys added more posts when i was typing the edit above. it relates to a youtube channel by the name of daddyoffive that Suit Yourself covered recently.

the kind of things people are fighting for these days... but more than that, the following:

oh and since i KNOW i will be getting reported for this post. and i have at least a 1 in 3 chance at guessing who is reporting me.

to the person reporting me: i'm sick of the bullshit. you can stop trying to silence me with the "transphobia" BS. i don't live in New York so you can't punish me for "misgendering" someone (in fact, that might stir up trouble here if they started punishing that) since that's isn't a crime in the first place. microaggressions are perceived crimes that honestly, are things that would be stupid to punish people for doing.

i'm not looking for trouble or trying to start problems but if anyone dares to utter anything remotely anti-transgender that isn't sucking up or giving special treatment, even if it's unintentional, then you people will get all offended and try to have the person punished for stupid reasons.

that is what makes me angry...here at e621.

oh and before anyone tries to say something to the effect of "well, maybe if you stopped being so transphobic". -_-no, that won't work because 1. i'm not giving anyone special treatment just because they're different. and 2. if they so much as perceive something anyone says is offensive, they'll attack that person in some way.

those tickets are typically viewable by the public btw so i do know when you report me.

I'm with you on this one. If you have male genitals you are technically male and there are lots of male features included. Getting pissed for people calling them the wrong gender is bullshit. It sucks but that's reality.

Besides this is the angry thread. Opinions should flow a little looser here.

Delusional, preachy people who falsely accuse me of stuff and then when I remind them that the accusation was indeed false and PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT THEY ACTUALLY DID IT they deny any wrongdoing and continue to falsely accuse me.

And it doesn't help that a large majority of these types are preachy conspiracy nuts with a mountain-sized chip on their shoulder who cite "facts" that have no sources as if they're absolute proven reality. I usually end up blocking them, since they have absolutely no interest in hearing anything that contradicts them, but they are extremely annoying to have to deal with because nothing you say, no amount of documented evidence that proves them wrong, no absolute proof that they're full of shit will make them acknowledge that they made a mistake.

saw a conspiracy nut in some youtube comments the other day who thought the 9/11 attack wasn't caused by terrorists. something about one of the buildings collapsing when no airplane had hit it.

you know, it could've been a chain reaction where one building goes down nearby only to bring the other with it. wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

conspiracy theorists come up with theories so ridiculous that it leaves you with the "you can't make this up" reaction. unfortunately that reaction also applies to lots of non-conspiracy theory stuff too.

just replace "I'm going to report you!" with pretty much anything and that's pretty accurate.

edit: oh great. guess what BS is back for yet another round of fighting. Internet Censorship

that john oliver video there:

2:49 in other words, shitty ISP service would get even shittier. you'd be paying even more than you already do for shit service.

3:40 that right there is some BS semantics.

4:02 now THAT is BS. and those companies would definitely do that since it's all about the money for them.

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. I don't personally believe the official story, but not because I think that planes that were physically there somehow didn't exist. My main beef is the way the towers fell, too much like a controlled demolition. If it was a random collapse it wouldn't have been nearly as catastrophic as it was.

But I've seen even worse "theories" about 9/11 than the "there was no plane" thing. Some think the plane was actually a nuke, for instance. Others claim it was a UFO. Still others claim it was caused by HAARP. They do anything to get attention and they don't care how many people they screw over in the process.

And it doesn't help that so much of our society is centered around that stupid "guilt by association" fallacy. Like saying that because the Nazis criticized the "conquest of Canaan" in the Bible, that therefore anyone who criticizes the conquest of Canaan must automatically be a Nazi... because heaven forbid their legitimate criticism be actually treated like it's actually legitimate. Anymore it's all about dick size, it's very rare to find anyone who will debate a point on its merits.

There are so many clues towards the towers being destroyed by controlled demolition it's no longer a conspiracy theory.

I'm sure no one, including the bomb sniffing dogs, would have noticed the tons of explosives being shipped in and strategically placed that would have been required for this

relevant: this discussion makes me angry

I dunno why people think a controlled demolition is a foregone conclusion when nothing like this had ever been done in history, much less on a building full of people, and furthermore one that had already been unsuccessfully attacked by terrorists, meaning it was on alert. I can't think of a worse target for a controlled demolition honestly, other than the highly reinforced and secured Pentagon, but apparently that was a controlled demolition too

I'm no structural engineer (though the ones I've read the accounts of generally agreed that the official explanation was plausible if not the only way it could have happened), but I promise you that any arguments related to jet fuel and/or steel beams are just uninformed about the physical properties of chemicals at high temperature along with the nature of fire.

Most importantly I don't get the angle of "the buildings had to be collapsed for this to work," I think crashing a plane into a skyscraper, instantly condemning hundreds of people to death, twice, was more than enough; there would have been no reason to take such a massive risk that planting these supposed explosives would entail in two separate buildings...

I mean that's just how I'd do it if I were some conspirator

And the founders of the 9/11 "truth" movement were structural engineers. They were called "Concerned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth." The idea that this was a controlled demolition came from them.

And I don't think it's unreasonable to point out that the people going into the buildings and coming out of the buildings to place the explosives could easily have claimed to be simple maintenance people, as entire floors of the Twin Towers were constantly empty. Nor do I think it's unreasonable to point out that the official story ignored the fact that the buildings fell at free-fall speeds, which requires structural knee-capping all up and down the entire structure that planes hitting the upper floors could not have accomplished on their own. Nor is it unreasonable to point out that eyewitness accounts repeatedly report explosions taking place before the planes hit, which is consistent with the beginning phase of an active demolition, as well as just prior to the collapse of each tower, which again is consistent with a controlled demolition.

What makes me angry about this discussion is that people are offended that other people would rather believe the available evidence than believe whatever the Feds tell them they should believe. It's as if the Feds never lie to anybody... and that's pure bunk, they're politicians, and politicians lie all the time. Lying about something like this is nothing to these folks.
