@Doomguy666: Rings look pretty. The wood grain look is also very beautiful. Do you apply the technique to create knife guards?

@vex714: oh no if I have time it's mostly just cold work now, I haven't made my own knife yet, well other than a couple shanks.
Plus I don't really like hand guards on knives, they catch on things really easy and get in the way more than help.

@vex714: it's my dream to make a knife with a mokume Gane blade catcher. It's the strip of brass on the spine, I don't think it really does anything but it'd be an unobtrusive bit of flare.
