It makes me sad that I may be outgrowing the car, and am looking @ the Escape. Heavier, especially with AWD, yet twice the power when equipped with the 2.0 turbo.

Unfortunately 10 MPG down, and with higher insurance costs.

@Sharp_Coyote: Took a while sry, but that's the way it is with vehicles. Ford Escapes aren't bad. I've never driven one, but I've never heard complaints. You thinking of getting a Hybrid? Nothing but Toyotas in my life and a 64' Impala SS (sold) T-T.

@Sharp_Coyote: You can get quotes and compare with other insurances. I've done them before. Been with Farmers for 30 years and we switched over to Ameriprise because of better prices.

@Sharp_Coyote: With an Escape, you'll at least be safer.

Also, do you have Costco membership? Ameriprise gives discounts on auto insurance if you combine. But like with any other insurance, they want info about the cars. How often, distance etc.
