@Doomguy666 What household items can I use to sharpen a really old dull Swiss Army Knife?

@French_Fried: I've gotten good results with sandpaper and a wood block it depends in the grit of the paper. Concrete could work it'll be rough but it'll be an edge, then I heard you could strop it with either an old belt or cardboard and toothpaste.

@French_Fried: I've never tried stroping with toothpaste so I don't know.
Personally I sharpen mine with diamonds and rubys.
You just need something rough and harder than the steel and to hold the blade at a consistent angle.
